ADHD Diet
->
The Pelsser-Nutrition and Behavior test (PVG-test) is based on the few foods diet (rice, lamb, lettuce, pear and water), but with an expanded number of foods. It is absolutely not true that the diet consists exclusively of the "few foods diet '!
The PVG test has been expanded with an ingenious scheme bill and adapted to the Dutch diet: it is therefore quite normal to eat, every day with something extra, although it still remains a strict diet.
Meanwhile, more than 400 families PVG test followed. Only 5% of the participants is unable to adapt to the diet for compliance. 95% of households, the PVG test to end on! This indicates that the PVG-test is to sustain.
The PVG-test is so necessary for each child individually adjusted depending on individual sensibilities, the backgrounds and the potential of the family. There is therefore no question of a standard test.
There is at the PVG test not only taking on supply includes other aspects into account. We get not only dietary variety of substances within that might influence behavior, even through the skin and respiratory tract can be all sorts of substances.
The PVG test is composed of very thoughtful. It is more than just a diet, it is a scientific research compound zoekstest.top
Given the fact that children respond simultaneously to multiple foods and because each child on a different combination of foods, is impossible to do their own thing to find out where a child can not. Just omit some foods from the diet of a child has no meaning. The probability that exactly the right combination of foods is omitted from the diet, is very small. It is therefore important to research into the relationship between diet and behavior always start with a strict elimination diet, which is carried out under supervision and that is adapted to the child and the family.
To prevent parents unconsciously their diet already going to fit for the start of the investigation, it is unfortunately not possible to provide more information about the composition of the test.
The PVG-long test is never followed. Young children are the test three to four weeks, slightly older children follow the test 4-5 weeks. When a child is not responding with changes behavior on the test, the then eat everything. If the child responds with behavior improvement on the test, the inflows in the follow-up study: Slowly but surely, the diet then be expanded.
Follow-up study
Children with behavioral improvements of 50% or more responsive to the PVG diet may inflows in the follow-up study. No or little children who exhibit behavior improvement as a result of the dietary intervention, be referred for further investigation and / or medication.
It is therefore never intended to follow the diet long-term: either your child can eat everything again, or it is part of the follow-up study.
During the follow-up study examines what foods your child reacts, this is done by means of an individual provocation and elimination schedule. Slowly but surely, the diet of your child extended to as normal as possible and eat only certain foods need to avoid.
The investigation may follow a year, this depends on the sensitivity of your child. The method is not quick, but effective: Slowly but surely, is clear on what foods your child responds with behavior changes.
Unfortunately, there are no other possibilities for the influence of diet on behavior to investigate. There is no other regular test methods, such as blood tests, in order to onderzoeken.top
It is important to know that all children with behavioral disorders respond to food, for three to five different food sensitive. The combination of foods for each child may be different. In principle, any food can be: even though dyes and sugar have the reputation that children there are pressures, yet research suggests that very often these substances, but ordinary foods.
It is not wise when parents leave on their own foods from the diet of their child. When you do this, you charge your child long, while the probability is very small that the right combination of food resources is omitted. It is better for a short time in order to participate in good research, and also to know where you stand.
It is fortunately rare case that a child for a particular food is so sensitive that there is absolutely nothing more can eat. It is almost always an intolerance, not an allergy. That means that there is a certain threshold. When you eat less of a particular product than the threshold, then the food has no effect on the behavior of the child. Only when there is more of a particular product is eaten than the threshold for that product, there are problems. During the follow-up study is also possible that certain threshold. This often means that when there is reasonably good home to the ultimate Diet, that is outside the door than ever sinned best can be.
During the follow-up research is intensive guidance and support. Every four weeks, there are counseling calls. Also, parents throughout the follow-keeping a diary, which not only the behavior of the child is recorded, but also all other complaints, such as abdominal pain, difficulty sleeping and bed wetting. The proper keeping of the diary during the follow-up study is of great importance. Every 4 weeks, the progress of the investigation will be discussed and agreed a new schedule of testing food. Prior to this consultation is the diary sent so that it can be extensively studied.
The actual cost of the continued consultations are € 145, -. Thanks to the sponsorship of the research are the specific costs for parents at this time € 90.00 per consult follow.

Now they used medication for her sugar and Ritalin for ADHD, but sugar is increasing. Have difficulty with the structure of its eating quality. I read a lot about children but this can and has also operated for someone like situation described above?
Please send me a receipt and information on the crooks said.
Thanks for the effort taken.

E110 - Solar Yellow
E104 - Quinoline Yellow - was already known as histamine preoccupation
E122 - Azorubine
E129 - allura red
E102 - Tartrazine (one of the most controversial azo dyes)
E124 - 4 Red Ponceau

Dear Linda,
Maybe it is for your patient is an option not to Ritalin but concerta to try, it is the same active ingredient you need only 1 dose (pill) per day to take. The issuance of this substance (methylphenidate hydrochloride) is constant because concerta uses the zgn "time released" capsule.
Because Ritalin may affect the hunger feeling it might be a solution if they are less peaks in its dosage.
Also, the use of Yacon the creation and functioning of insulin promote.
Of course, the operation will depend on the type of diabetes.
Yacon is a plant from the Andes which is the tubers and the form used for this purpose. The Netherlands is also in this plant to grow.
Perhaps the tubers by their beneficial effects and low Calories also be useful to waste it but I never deepened.
Love, Danielle
